I am Arindam Mukherjee, a Kolkata-based photojournalist and documentary photographer with over 25 years of experience. My journey began in 1996 as an advertising photographer, collaborating with leading advertising agencies, fashion designers, graphic artists, NGOs, and corporates.

But my true passion was always street photography and visual storytelling, which eventually led me to photojournalism.

Career & Experience

• Started as a freelance photographer for The Times of India.

• Worked as Chief Photographer & Assignment Director for EyePress Photo Agency, Hong Kong.

• Represented internationally by SIPA Press.

• Currently working as a freelance photojournalist for newspapers, magazines, NGOs, and corporates worldwide.

• Mentor and teacher, conducting workshops and training in photojournalism & visual storytelling.

• Media Fellowship – National Foundation for India (2003–2004, Photojournalism).
